Houston - June 17, 2010 - FuelQuest, Inc., the leading on-demand software and services company for the global downstream energy industry, announced today the addition of Philip Fraher to their management team as Chief Financial Officer. Fraher is a veteran technology executive with extensive experience advising companies on financial capital strategies, operational best practices, international expansion, and strategic partnerships. He has more than 20 years of experience predominately in business-to-business (B2B) software with a strong focus on analytic applications.

Starting initially as a software engineer at Exxon Production Research, Fraher has held positions of increasing responsibility progressing into finance and then into executive management. Fraher served as the President and CEO of Visual Numerics, Inc. and guided the company's successful sale to Rogue Wave software in 2009. He also served as COO and CFO at Brightmail, Inc. and CFO at Cahners Business Information, Electronic Media Division. Most recently, he has been a key advisor to several of Houston's emerging, fast-growth organizations as a Managing Partner at The Formulate Group and as an Executive in Residence at the Houston Technology Center.
