Technology and Energy Industry Veteran to Oversee and Drive Growth Strategy
"I am excited to join the FuelQuest team," said Fraher. "My career started in the oil and gas industry, and I am looking forward to leveraging my many years in both large and small technology organizations to help FuelQuest capitalize on its significant growth opportunities."
Starting initially as a software engineer at Exxon Production Research, Fraher has held positions of increasing responsibility progressing into finance and then into executive management. Fraher served as the President and CEO of Visual Numerics, Inc. and guided the company's successful sale to Rogue Wave software in 2009. He also served as COO and CFO at Brightmail, Inc. and CFO at Cahners Business Information, Electronic Media Division. Most recently, he has been a key advisor to several of Houston's emerging, fast-growth organizations as a Managing Partner at The Formulate Group and as an Executive in Residence at the Houston Technology Center.

Fraher has an MBA in Finance from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester and a BS in Computer Engineering from Auburn University. He serves on the advisory boards of both universities as well as several local software companies.
