As a member of the Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS), FuelQuest and its Fuel Management System (FMS) serve to streamline communication between fuel buyers and their common carriers by providing a central web-based system in which carriers can enter BOL, delivery and freight information; this allows carriers to participate in greater integration and efficiency with those they provide service - often resulting in the following value:

Common carriers providing fuel management services for their customers or operating their own fuel retail operations in addition to transporting fuel can deploy FMS to manage their fuel processes as well as run their dispatch, sourcing & freight operations in a central web-based system.

Common carriers can better integrate with fuel buyers who use FMS and with FuelQuest Fuel Center®, FuelQuest's fuel management service, by logging on to the fuel buyer's FMS system via the web to enter BOL/delivery and freight information in a central web-based system.

FuelQuest's Fuel Management System (FMS) supports carriers through two highly functional interfaces:

Delivery Report Interface - FuelQuest's FMS leverages the PCATS-NAXML industry standards to integrate the accounting/billing systems of common carriers and Delivery/Order/BOL Receipt capture capabilities of FMS. This interface transmits BOL, order, delivery and freight invoice information from a common carrier information system into the FMS system. Thousands of orders are posted successfully each day via the Delivery Report Interface with a 99% success rate.

Carrier Load Tender Interface - FuelQuest's FMS leverages the PCATS-NAXML industry standards to provide improved integration between those placing motor fuel transportation orders and the common carrier executing the orders. This interface has dual-functionality: Carrier Load Tender Request and Carrier Load Tender Response.

• Carrier Load Tender Request transmits lifting information such as which rack to lift from, what product to pull, and where to deliver the fuel from FMS to the common carrier system.
• Carrier Load Tender Response transmits the carrier's acknowledgement of acceptance or rejection of a fuel load, promptly informing the fuel buyer as to the status of the load - eliminating the carrier's need for manual labor and time consuming phone calls.
